Guinness Arthur's Day 2012 Press Conference

Hello everyone, do you still remember my previous post on Join GUINNESS® Singapore to celebrate this year's Arthur's Day?

Are you guys excited for it?

Well, I do. And today I have just attended Guinness Arthur's Day 2012 Press Conference which was held at Hood Bar and Cafe at Bugis+. Let me share with you some of the happenings at the press conference:
While waiting for the Mando-pop rock stars, we were indulged in the live performance by the Guinness Live members. So good to see them again after so long. Not sure if you guys still remember, I headed down regularly to Guinness Live concert to support them.

Cheers to Guinness and thanks for the invitation (:

Mr Rene de Monchy, Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific Breweries (Singapore), gave his opening speech at the press conference.

Celebrated globally for the fourth year, Arthur’s Day is an annual music event which celebrates those who, like GUINNESS founder Arthur Guinness, are distinctive, bold and epitomise the concept “Made of More”. It is also a celebration of Arthur Guinness’ legacy and the much loved GUINNESS brand.

GUINNESS fans in Singapore will be treated to an evening of live music spanning over five hours from some of the region’s renowned Mando-pop rock stars and, of course, a pint of the black stuff during the event, together with Shin (信) from Taiwan, Malaysia’s Gary Chaw (曹格), Paul Wong (黄贯中) from Hong Kong and China’s Della Ding Dang (丁当).

Without any further ado, let's bring out the regional music stars:

The stars were sharing with us on what to expect for their Friday performance.
Let me share one with you:

They will all be bringing their live band over. Woo, you can for sure expect a night of rock music (:

Arghhh, Paul was looking at my direction.
Were you guys a fan of the popular rock band “Beyond”, remember to catch him in action this Friday at Guinness first Arthur’s Day Concert in Singapore.

Host of the day: Peifen from Y.E.S. 93.3.

Thanks to Guinness for bringing us all together in this special day.
"To Arthur!"

After which, the reporters had another upclose interview with Paul, Della and Gary.

The guests were being treated to refreshments.

Wow, and they served my favourite onion ring!!!
