S.E.A Aquarium at Resort World Sentosa

After our lunch at Crystal Jade, we made our way to Sentosa Island which was just across the sea.
To thank Grace for the sumptuous lunch, I'm gonna bring her to S.E.A Aquarium. @ Marine Life Park. I have been wanting to visit S.E.A Aquarium since ages ago. So excited for the outing trip, finally I was here.

Arriving at the Marine Life Park with Grace.
We can't wait to dive into the world's largest oceanarium.

I stopped by at the beautiful lake to capture the magnificent photo of the tropical paradise.
Don't you agree that this scene is beautiful?

Singapore has the world's largest oceanarium that featured more than 100,000 marine animals from over 800 species across 49 habitats, the aquarium is home to majestic manta rays, enormous goliath groupers, hammerhead sharks and other gentle giants of the sea.

Again, I am so proud of Singapore. Singapore got the world-class attractions.

As we entered, we were being led to the Maritime Experiential Museum.

The Maritime Experiential Museum is the only museum in Singapore where visitors can experience Asia’s rich maritime history and discover Singapore’s past as a trading port. Visitors can view life-sized ship replicas of Asian sailing vessels, learn more about Asia’s maritime and cultural heritage. This unforgettable visit ends on a nail-biting note in the 360ยบ multimedia Typhoon Theatre where visitors ‘board’ a sailing ship and encounter a perilous storm.

I was wow-ed by the enormous aquarium with the wide variety of fishes swimming in it.
Let your imagination swim as a panoramic marine vista engulfs you.

Seems like the fishes were all dancing in a perfect unison.

Spotted a polka dot fish.

This was so fascinating. We felt that we could stay here for hours admiring the underwater world living.

The place behind me was the Shipwreck Habitat
Let's observe the life-sized shipwreck as we entered S.E.A Aquarium.

They once carried the world's treasures across oceans. Today, they lie at the bottom of the sea, harbouring the sea's marine life.

Wow, it was so overwhleming.

When I see dory, I will immediately think of Finding Nemo.
Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.....

This large cylinder tank got all of us mesmerized.
Everyone stopped by to take a good look at the colourful fishes swimming about. I had never see so many fishes in my entire life before. S.E.A Aquarium indeed housed many variety of species. How did they manage to find so many different types of species???

We had reached the Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins corner. They were swimming freely in the cold water habitat.

What a lovely marine mammal.

Let the picture do all the talking:

Check out the cool marine life in the Cold Water habitats such as giant spider crab, chambered nautilus and other unique species.

Recharge your energy with the electrifying pulsating dances of the translucent sea jelly species like the trailing long-tentacled lion’s mane sea jelly,

They may seen harmful. But beware of the sea jelly, they use their tentacles to sting.

2 stingrays were swimming above us.

Actually stingrays are relative of sharks. Be careful of them, their tails have poisonous venom which is dangerous to human.

Our last encounter: Shark Seas.

We were being transported into the majestic predators of the marine realm, Shark Seas is one awe-inspiring habitat that you will remember forever.

There was my first time seeing so many endangered species such as the scalloped hammerhead shark, the powerful and aggressive silvertip shark, and the sandbar shark - one of the largest coastal sharks in the world.

My first time seeing shark as such a close distance.
Seeing them reminds me of shark attack movie and documentary. The cruel killer!

The visit to S.E.A Aquarium was a fruitful one, it broadened my horizon and knowledge about marine life.

I felt so good to be away from the urban life, I always love visiting place of tourist attraction because it never fail to leave me a memorable experience after the visit. I hope to have more opportunity in future to travel around and visiting place of attraction, learning about the different culture.

I shall end my post here. S.E.A Aquarium is definitely worth the visit, have you visit it yet?
