Product Review - Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion

Keeping our skin hydrate and moisturise is important as it retains the elasticity and suppleness of our skin.

So in order to have smoother and healthier skin, we need to hydrate my skin inside out. Besides drinking lots of water everyday, we must not neglect skincare regime as well.

So today I will be introducing you a hydrating product that I personally love very much.

One drop locks up an ocean.

Hada Labo, a well received brand in Japan.

Hada Labo has a PERFECT X SIMPLE philosophy where only the finest, purest and highly effective ingredients are used to give you beautiful skin. It's also removes all unnecessary ingredients such as colorant, fragrance, mineral oil and other additives that burden the skin and it's specially formulated for Asian skin.

Hada Labo has proven to be a success with its Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion becoming the No. 1 face lotion in Japan. Their achievement for the SHA Hydrating Lotion is amazing - 1 sold every 2 seconds in Japan.

This is how good the product is, I can't wait to try it myself.

My product has arrived in a lovely packaging, it has come in a zip lock bag.

Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion.

There are 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid present in the lotion that power up our skin's moisture-locking ability layer by layer.
- Hyaluronic Acid
- Super Hyaluronic Acid
- Nano Hyaluronic Acid

It contains Super Hyaluronic Acid that has twice the moisture retention capacity of Hyaluronic Acid (1g of Hyaluronic Acid can retain up to 6litres of water) to allow your skin to stay hydrated and smooth for a longer period of time.

Why is Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion becoming the best selling product in Japan and Singapore?

  • Suitable for normal and dry skin.
  • Watery, moist liquid texture.
  • Moistures deeply into all layers of skin.
  • Contains 3 types of Hyaluronic acid. With different sizes of hyaluronic acid molecules, it moisturizes skin from surface to deep within.
  • pH balanced.
  • Low irritation with no added fragrance, colors and oil.
Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion is also featured on Taiwan variety show - Lady First, 女人我最大.
Xiao Kai Lao Shi (小凯老师) has demonstrate how to hydrate skin thoroughly with the correct application of the Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion! You may go to Hada Labo's Facebook for the video.

The lotion hydrophilic nature helps to lock in moisture as it penetrates into the deepest layer of your skin to nourish from within.

If one drop locks an ocean, what about a few drops?
It will hydrate my skin all day long.

Every morning and evening after cleansing the face, apply sufficient amount of toner onto face and pat until fully absorbed.

My review:

Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion has a watery light texture that is easily absorbed into skin, leaving no sticky feeling after application and prep my skin for the treatment. The toner has lived up to its claim, it leaves my skin feeling nourished and hydrated for long hours. After using the toner for one week, my skin condition have shown improvement. My skin have become more supple and moisturise.

Another skin problem that I have is that I am a oil factory producer. But now after using Hydrating Lotion, it aids a little in oil control. I do not need to use oil blotter sheets that often.

With only 2-3 drops per usage, the 170ml bottle could last my for long. Most importantly, it is not pricey at all.

Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion is available at Watsons, NTUC, Guardian, SASA, BHG and Unity.
Retail Price - $22.90/170ml
