To celebrate this special occasion, we had a romantic dinner at Resorts World Sentosa. The restaurant was located at Equarius Hotel, West B1M Carpark.
We arrived at Equarius Hotel by buggy ride. The hotel was located along the fringe of a tropical rainforest in Sentosa.
Checked out their toilet and the toilet was so grand.
I was wearing a black dress that day. Black dress can be wear for all occasion and something that will never go wrong.
Since the time was still early, we sat down at the lobby to kill our time.
Ocean Restaurant by Cat Cora was located at Level B1M, it has to be access via Equarius Hotel's basement carpark. The restaurant reopened at 6pm for dinner.
Be awe when you enter the Ocean Restaurant, Southeast Asia’s only underwater aquarium dining experience. Ocean restaurant is a place to impress your date with a romantic dinner against the backdrop of schools of fish, sharks and string rays.
Complimentary bread was served while waiting for my course to be served. The bread tasted so nice when spread with butter.
Apart from the bread, we also have some small bites.
Enjoying every moment in the restaurant, we just sit back and enjoy the sight of the fishes and string rays swimming past while savouring the Mediterranean-Californian cuisine.
First course was Ocean - Harmony of Sea Life.
The ingredients consist of ginger essence, salsa vert, watermelon sorbet and charred aioli.
Overlooking an impressive view of the underwater ocean, this luxurious dinner was indeed one-of-a-kind and a memorable one for us. Everything was so perfect except for the pricey menu. Good food and breathtaking ambience comes with a hefty price.
Next course was Crispy Duck Foie Gras.
The foie gras was appetizing with the aromatic ingredients toppled on it. The foie gras has a smooth and silky texture that literally can be melted in our mouth.
Lobster Milk was next.
The dining experience was a great one, my seating spot allows me to view the underwater aquarium while having my meal.
Another course that was more stomach filling, Crispy Skin Kuhlbarra Barramundi.
The barramundi was served with fermented black bean paste and sauteed Asian green pepper juice. The fresh barramundi was well executed and the taste was rich with the green pepper juice.
Here's Crackling Pork Belly.
The pork belly was great except for the small portion. I could finish it in 2 bites.
The dinner ended off with Roasted Peach which consists of buttermilk sago, soursop sorbet and more.
It was a unforgettable night accompanied with love, lavish meal and stunning views spent at Ocean Restaurant.
