I was enjoying the familiar sight of the lake as I walked to Flower Dome. Even though I have seen this view countless of times, it still managed to take my breath away every single time. The tranquil waters and the surrounding beauty always create a serene atmosphere.
My pathway was blocked by a huge monitor lizard and there was no one around except me. I waited for a while, watching as the monitor lizard slowly dived into the lake, allowing me to continue my walk.
This spot looked like a great place to soak up the natural beauty, with beautiful trail and lake to admire. I even spotted the monitor lizard I encountered earlier swimming in the lake (near the bottom left).
The Fresh Thai Coconut ($8++) was cooling and refreshing, offering a healthier option for a beverage. While sipping the coconut water, a wave of nostalgia washed over me, making me started to miss Thailand.
It has been 9 years since I last rode the Cable Car Sentosa Line which was during the nighttime. While waiting for our next travel adventure (still in planning), we decided to play tourists in our home country. We got the tickets at local price of $4.
We boarded the cable car at Imbiah Lookout Station and headed towards Siloso Point. The highlight of Sentosa Line is the breathtaking view of the lush jungle foliage and surrounding coastline of Sentosa from higher viewing point. My eyes were glued to the scenery throughout the ride.
The view of Siloso Beach was spectacular. From the cable car, I enjoyed a panoramic view of the blue sea stretching as far as the eye could see.
Besides the cable car, you can also ride on the Skyride which offers panoramic views of the beach without any window glass blockage. With your legs dangling in the air, this thrilling experience is not for those with a fear of heights.
We eventually alighted at Merlion Station. It was a great day out and I love exploration like this.
