Fright Night‏

Any vampire-lovers out there?

A good news for you guys: Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is presenting us a new upcoming vampire movie.

I am always awed by the vampire fantasy. During the years, vampire seems to have evolve a lot. Still remember back in the 90s, the vampires were so classic. They can only come out during the midnight and come dress in the Qing dynasty robes with the yellow talisman stick on their forehead. This is so different from the vampire nowadays where they are able to walk freely under the sun and most importantly, they are all good-looking. Tell me how can I don't like vampire movie!

BUT, Fright Night not the usual oh-so-romantic friendly vampires that we are familiar with! Nevertheless, I think it will still be a great movie, since when did Walt Disney movie disappoint us?

Synopsis of the movie:

Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all—he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. In fact, he’s so cool he’s even dissing his best friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right—and everyone, including Charlie’s mom (Toni Collette), doesn’t notice.

After witnessing some very unusual activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone that he’s telling the truth, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic.

Official Release Date: 22 September 2011
