Taking advantage of a day off, I enjoyed a leisurely afternoon with Linda to finalise the details of our upcoming vacation. We met up for lunch at Eighteen Chefs in Star Vista after she ended her work.
We had Truffle Mushroom Grilled Chicken Cheese Baked Rice and add on Ice Lemon Tea and Soup of the day for $14.60 nett. The baked rice fell short of expectations, the cheese was applied on the top portion, resulting in a plain interior. The others were still decent.
After the lunch, we made our way to Changi Airport. The long journey allowed us the opportunity to catch up and rumbled about work. It was raining while we were on the way, luckily our destination was indoor.
We reached Jewel Changi Airport at 3pm, ready to explore the captivating wonders housed within. The first stop was HSBC Rain Vortex. Jewel was one of the places on my list of places to visit, but little did I know, it would take four years to make this trip a reality
It was my first time witnessing the world’s tallest indoor waterfall at a height of 40-metres, it was a picturesque spot where everyone paused here to take a photo of the architecture.
We went up to the Canopy Bridge at level 5 that was suspended 23-metres above ground with lesser crowds. The powerful stream of water cascaded down, created an impressive waterfall.
Jewel has various viewing points at different levels for us to catch to witness the master piece of the impressive Rain Vortex from different angles.
My favourite part is Canopy Park where the young and young at heart can enjoy an array of exciting play attractions. It offers a space for connection with indoor nature, complete with cute figurines found within the park.
