It has been a long time since I last went to Burger King. After our lunch, we stopped by at Burger King for dessert and I gotten Chocolate Malt Cone at $1.50. It was like chocolate and milo fusion which was quite delicious.
Wednesday 7/8/24
We went Hoshino for lunch, one of our frequent dining place. I have the $14.90++ lunch set inclusive of soup and drink. For main course, I had Carbonara with French Fries. It was quite unique to see such a combination.
Saturday 17/8/24
We ventured to Ang Mo Kio wanting to try a Korean restaurant. However, it turned out that the restaurant only operated in the evening, so we decided to go to Lazy Lizard, which was located right next to it.
The Lazy Scramble ($16.80++) came with perfectly executed creamy chili chives scrambled eggs and crispy fried Parma ham, all set atop a toasted croissant. The portion was generous, with a smooth blend of flavours.
The Loop Fries ($11.80++) were very addictive and had a satisfying crunch, making for a great light bite to complement the meal.
Since we were in Ang Mo Kio, I decided to visit AM:PM Cafe, a dessert cafe that I had been wanting to try. We topped up $2 for Peach Tea, it has sweet notes from the peach creating a fragrant aroma into every sip, making it refreshing.
We customised our own Hong Kong Style Egglets with Soft Serve Ice Cream. For the ice cream, we chose blue vanilla and coconut flavour. For the three toppings, we picked oreo crumbles, marshmallow and Pepero stick. We opt for gula melaka sauce. Every bite was rich in flavour and the the vibrant colours of the dessert contrasted beautifully. The sprinkled toppings complemented the ice cream perfectly, making it a sweet ending to our meal.

We ended off with Apple Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream. The apple curd offered a tartness which was counterbalanced by the sweetness of the ice cream. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavours.
