Singapore Cable Car Sky Network Launch

For over 40 years, millions have soared through the skies from Mount Faber, through HarbourFront and onto Sentosa by the Singapore Cable Car. I am one of millions who have fly with Singapore Cable Car before. Still remembered my experience on boarding Singapore Cable Car last year, it was a joyful ride. I enjoyed the bird's eye view of the Sentosa-HarbourFront precinct.

I was delighted when I know that Singapore cable car has open a new line on Sentosa Island and over the moon when they invited me for the launch of Singapore Cable Car Sky Network.

The launch was held at Siloso Point Station.

There are three cable car stations servicing the new Sentosa Line which includes the Merlion, Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Point Station.

The new Sentosa Line, a $78 million investment, will allow visitors to connect from Merlion Plaza to Siloso Point, on the western tip of the island conveniently. It enhances connectivity and accessibility on the island.

Mr S Iswaran, Minister in Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade & Industry, was the Guest of Honour for the launch.

Together, they launched the new Sentosa Cable Car line. Together, the two lines form the Singapore Cable Car Sky Network.

So beautiful.

With the launch over, it's time for us to board the cable car. Feeling so excited, we can't wait to hop in.

The scenery was breathtaking. We had a great view of the entire Siloso Beach. Though we were 100 metres above the sea, it wasn't scary at all. We felt so relaxing and happy throughout the 10 minute ride. The breezy wind made us feel cool in the cabin.

Thanks Jas for the photo.
We were reaching the hilltop. The scenery was brilliant, I want to come back again in the day time for more photo taking.

Other than the views, the Sentosa Line gives visitors a convenient access to the attractions located in Merlion Plaza, Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Beach areas.

Strongly recommended to buy the unlimited ride passes because one round is definitely not enough. You would want to sit in the cable car for as long as you want. I am already missing the cable car ride now.

Singapore Cable Car indeed gave us the feeling of high on happiness.

The team had prepared a variety of refreshment and drinks for the invited guests. Delicious and yummy.

We have a wonderful girls night out with Singapore Cable Car, it was a fun and enjoying night.

As part of Sentosa’s SG50 celebrations, Singapore Cable Car Sky Network will be free for Singaporeans and local residents from 9am to 9pm on 10 August. Not only that, entry via the Sentosa Boardwalk is free all day every day, while those who drive or take a taxi into the island will enjoy free admission after 5pm on week days (excluding Public Holidays) till the end of 2015. A host of Sentosa SG50 and After 5 promotional offers are also available for guests to enjoy a fun time out on Sentosa to celebrate the nation’s Golden Jubilee.

Thanks Sentosa and Mount Faber Leisure Group for the invitation, I enjoyed myself very much, especially the ride on cable car. I will be back again very soon.
