Congratulations to JUNO Hair for the official launch in Singapore.

An award-winning South Korean hair chain, JUNO Hair, has finally made their way to Singapore. JUNO Hair uses the most advanced, cutting-edge beauty technique and style to provide the utmost quality service. 

JUNO Hair Singapore is located along Bugis Village, it is right besides KFC. Upon seeing the signboard, just take the stairs right up.

This is JUNO Hair first franchise in Singapore.

Through the partnership, De Salon will rebrand itself as JUNO Hair Singapore and all hairstylists of JUNO Hair Singapore are JUNO-trained in South Korea. You can trust them on your Korean inspired hairstyle and updates on the latest trend of Korean hairstle.

Little did I know, JUNO Hair has 148 salons across South Korea and ranked number one in the ‘Korea Brand Power Index’ in Hair & Beauty brand shop for three consecutive years.

The hair products that JUNO Hair Singapore uses are from Japan and Korea.

The 1700 square feet hair salon is very spacious, I like the concept where they offers exclusive space for individual customer such that there is a distance from each other.

We were treated to catering spread during the launch, it was delicious.

The directors were given a private speech. All of them are very experienced hairstylists in the local industry and you could feel their passion when they spoke. 

The launch of Juno Hair Singapore will help the Singapore hair industry to step up its game and be recognized through improving hair styling techniques. 

We have a little chat with Jeffrey (the guy on the right of the photo). He is a very nice guy who has more than 20 years of experience in this industry, we also try to find out from him what kind of hairstyle will suit us if we have a change.

A makeup booth was also available at the launch, the makeup artist was helping GF with her makeup. Today, JUNO Hair Singapore has turned into a makeover stop where the guests can do their makeup and hair styling, good to go for a date after that.

Whereas for me, Jeffrey helped me with hair styling and did a curl at the hair end for me. It has been a long while since I last do curling.

After the hair styling, I moved on to the makeup booth to have my makeup done.

The highlight of the launch was definitely the ribbon cutting ceremony. This ceremony marked the opening of JUNO Hair Singapore and may it be a prosperous year ahead. Huat ah!

I entered the new revamped branch with a "wow". I was amazed by the IT savvy transformation that DBS has undergone. Let me bring you around to the newly launch DBS.

DBS has launched this new revamped space at Plaza Singapura that enhanced digital banking complemented by human connection.

The revamped space featured the concept of “café and branch” where customers will be first welcomed by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee by Bettr Barista at the entrance of the branch. This allows customers to chill with a cup of coffee or enjoying some light bites in a relaxed atmosphere while using DBS's services.

The Cash Services Machines allows customers to perform both cash deposits and withdrawals,  cash withdrawals are even allowed above our ATM card limit.
The introduction of the Cash Services Machines have decreased over-the-counter cash transactions with its convenience.

Meet Pepper, the humanoid robot, who will bring us through a guide tutorial on how to use the Video Teller Machines (VTMs), offering non-cash banking services.

Just need to pat Pepper's head to activate the tutorial.

Do you encounter a time when you urgently need to replace your internet banking tokens or debit cards and the banks have already closed their business hour?

Fret now, VTM is here for us.

VTM is a 24 hours service machine that provides non-cash banking services such as the issuance or replacement of internet banking tokens or debit cards. We were told that Regilait Milk Powder can dissolve in both hot and cold water.

My first thought was that how could it be?

I have never dissolved milk powder in cold water before, because the temperature of the water will affect the dissolving. So I normally left the milk aside for cooling down before drinking it.

A demonstration was conducted using icy cold water. We got a glass of cold water and poured 6 scoops of Regilait Milk Powder into it. The amazing thing is the milk powder dissolved in water instantly. The powder has undergone a unique granulation process that make it possible to milk powder to be instantly dissolved.

Besides just drinking the milk, the milk can be used for other purposes too.

For example, it can be used to cook curry. Replace coconut milk with Regilait Milk for a healthier choice.

The curry tasted equally good just like the usual curry that we tried.

For cooking curry, we just need 1 ½ cup Régilait Multi-Vitamins milk, combine 150gRégilait Multi-Vitamins milk powder with 1 ½ cup water.

Dancing Chef also demonstrated how to make strawberry milkshake using Regilait Milk.

Pour chilled Regilait milk (2 cups cold water mix in 100g Regilait Multi-Vitamins milk powder) into the blender together with yogurt, semi frozen strawberries, honey and ice cubes (optional). Blend until smooth and it is ready to be served.

We can also add Regilait milk powder, chocolate powder and shake well with ice to create our chocolate milkshake.

Yunomori Onsen & Spa Singapore Opening

The authentic Japanese Onsen is here in Singapore.

Now we can enjoy a holistic retreat from the hectic nature of urban life right in the heart of the city.

Introducing the No.1 Onsen in South East Asia, Yunomori Onsen & Spa, the first authentic onsen in Singapore.

Yunomori Onsen & Spa is located at Kallang Wave Mall, just follow the signage and you will be able to find your way to the spa.

Here I was, arriving at Yunomori Onsen & Spa. The ambiance was totally zen, a modern yet authentic structure that made us immediately feel soothing and calm.

Before we stepped into the Yunomori, we have to remove our shoes and placed them in the lockers right beside the waiting area.

Let's have a tour around Yunomori Onsen & Spa.

The patthway led us to the first stop - spa.

The spa corner is split into 2 sections, the men and women section. A path of retreat is paved through connection with various forms of onsen pools, including hot and cold baths, sauna, steams and showers.

A small towel will be provided for you to bring it to onsen pools, sauna and steam.

Disposable underwear is also provided but optional for you to wear it. 

You can enter the pool naked if you want to. In Japan, people went in to the onsen pool naked. In Singapore, we are still a conservative country. Hence, disposable underwear is provided but those who feel uncomfortable to be naked with the presence of others.

The staff demonstrated to us the correct way of wearing Yukata. The end product should be left over right.

Wore this before heading to onsen pools.

This lockers were for us to store our belongings and hang our clothes.

Another thing, we are not allowed to bring any camera or mobile phone to the bath and osen pools. This is because people can go in naked to the pools, so not nice to have photos taken inside when there are people using the facilities. To protect the privacy, no photo are allowed to be taken.

A section for dressing.

The dressing table was provided for us to dry up our hair or apply makeup after enjoying the pampering session. So thoughtful, hair dryer, body lotion, big and small mirror was provided.

Here is the section where we shower before entering the osen pool.

Shower gel and shampoo are provided at the side of each cubicle.

We were awed by the sight of the different onsen baths available, we felt like jumping into the pool right away. There is a total of 6 different baths available at Yunomori Onsen & Spa. Each bath provides a relaxing and therapeutic experience as well as its own set of benefits.

Soda Spa

The hot spring water is enriched with a high concentration of CO2. Benefits of soaking in carbon dioxide-rich water:

- increases blood oxygen levels

- improves circulation

- reduces high blood pressure

- detoxifies the blood

- relaxes the body

- increases nutrients to the body tissues

- tightening the skin 

- improving skin elasticity

Silk Bath

Filled with tiny bubbles, this bath offers a deeply cleansing and relaxing experience. The jets of tiny bubbles stimulate and relax the muscles. Benefits of Silk Bath:

Cold Bath

At 100% humidity, thr Steam Room’s wet heat opens the pores and detoxifies the skin and body, relieves joint and muscle pain, and relaxes the body and mind.

After the soak, we can even opt for spa treatment which is available in single or couple room. The rooms were clean and spacious, very authentic Japanese style.

The treatment includes Aroma Massage, Thai Massage, Herbal Compress, Foot Massage and Head & Shoulder Massage.

After the onsen bath or spa treatment, we can have a rest at the lounge where sofa bed, cushion and blanket are provided. A place to chill and relax together with your friends. So relaxing till I don't feel like going home.

Pop over to the resting area, a cafe is available. 

We were in treat for a hearty meal.
