Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I had a great start to my weekend. I attended the product launch of  New Nuxe Nirvanesque which was held at Blisshouse Theme Restaurant.

Before I proceed to talk more about their new product (Nirvanesque) range, let me give you some background about NUXE.

NUXE was founded in 1957 by Aliza Jabès with the concept of combining nature, health and beauty. The vegetal environment is at the core of the greatest therapeutic and medicinal discoveries and that the power of plants must be treasured.

Introducing the new product series: Nirvanesque.

The botanical alternative to botox.

NUXE is launching its first range of skincare to smooth away first expression lines with a double Relaxing and De-stressing action.

Let the expert from NUXE France International shared with us more New Nuxe Nirvanesque.

Nirvanesque has a double floral neuro-cosmetic action for a "botox-like" boosted effect.

- A NEW neuro-relaxing action with concentrated extract of Tree Peony Root (new exclusive NUXE patent pending) to prolong the life of enkephalins, “well-being” molecules.

- A neuro-destressing action with a complex of Blue Lotus Seed, Poppy Seed, and Althea Root to reduce skin’s micro-tensions.

To enable all skin types, Nirvanesque 2013 offers a customized choice of three regimens, from the lightest to the richest, supplemented with an eye contour treatment.

NUXE’S COMMITMENT

- Products are free of mineral oil and  material of animal origin (Excluding products derived from beehives)

- Products are non-comedogenic (Facial care)

- Tests conducted by an independent laboratory recognized by the Ministry of Research for optimum safety and effectiveness

- Contributes to environmental protection by prioritizing recyclable materials

Prior to the start of the briefing, we were being served with a hot honey and ginger tea with a marshmallow in it. It tasted sweet and spicy.

After which, we had a hands-on session on the various products.

Nirvanesque

1st wrinkles smoothing cream for normal skin

50ml, $75

A smooth texture enriched with Musk Rose Oil that combines hydrating and anti-wrinkle properties. Skin is immediately de-stressed and hydrated upon application. It soothed and more relaxed features day after day.

The smoothing cream is bottled into the new eco-design jar. The jar is made from 100% recyclable material and it is very light, suitable to carry around everywhere.

The cream gives a tinted appearance for a healthy glow effect due to the natural colour of the peony. It also has the floral scent in it.

Nirvanesque Enrichie

1st wrinkles rich smoothing cream for dry to very dry skin

50ml, $75

A smooth and velvety cream enriched with nourishing Macadamia Oil. Skin is immediately smoothed an profoundly comfortable upon application. It helped to smooth and more relaxed features day after day.

Nirvanesque Light

1st wrinkles smoothing emulsion for combination skin.

50ml, $75

A soft and ethereal cream, enriched with mattifying Rice Powder and Enantia Chlorantha to reduce sebum. Skin is immediately relaxed and more matte. It smoothed and more relaxed features day after day.

Similar to the smoothing cream, the emulsion has the floral scent too. I love the scent very much. 

The emulsion is also fast absorbed into skin. I will be doing a detailed review on it very soon.

Nirvanesque Yeux

1st wrinkles smoothing eye contour cream.

15ml, $58

A thin, non-greasy cream enriched with pearly particles and active ingredients like corrective pigments and plant caffeine to fight against dark circles, ultra-hydrating hyaluronic acid to reinforce the smoothing effect.

An immediately luminous smoothed and refreshed look. Eye contours are relaxed and de-stressed day after day.

We were being treated to a sparkling cocktail. Customized my own Nirvanesque drink with the amount of syrup that I want.

We helped ourselves with the light refreshments provided.

I like the coffee cake the most because the crust is super delicious.

Before we parted the place, we walked around for some photo taking. Blisshouse is too beautiful not to take any photo.
