I made my second visit to Insadong Korea Town @ Resorts World Sentosa, this time round was with my poly peers. We have been wanting to meet up for a longest time. However, due to work or study constraint, we always couldn't meet in group and have to meet individually. I scheduled our first group meetup in 2015 on a weekend where most of them were free except for Grace (forever busy). She couldn't meet up for most of the days so we decided to go ahead with the plan.
We took a walk in to Sentosa. If you enter Sentosa via Sentosa Broadwalk, it is free of charge on weekend.
Back to Insadong again. During the food tasting in December last year, I actually won a $60 dining voucher from Insadong Korea Town through an Instagram contest. So I brought my friends here to try the food.
They were all awed by the wide variety of menu, it took us quite awhile to decide on what to order. In the end, we decided to go for all the authentic Korean food.
Steffi and Chan Lin
It took me awhile to persuade them to take photo together. They are loggerheads.
Christine and I (:
Refreshing ice matcha to ease our thirst.
Unagi bibimbap
Seafood tofu stew.
The soup was seriously hot and spicy. Spice lover gonna love this.
Jajjangmen. The noodles was really nice, every mouth tasted delicious and flavourful after mixing the sauce.
Kimchi pancake that I like very much.
Our meal will never be complete without dessert.
We have brownie with strawberry. Yummy and sweet.
Mix fruit shaved ice.
Our bill added up to $92 so we topped up the remaining $32. Thank you Chan Lin for paying the remaining for us (:
Thanks Insadong Korea Town for the wonderful lunch. We enjoyed the meal very much, it made us feel like we were in Korea.
Insadong Korea Town has nice exterior and interior design, a great spot for us to take photos.
We have a great time catching up too.
Let's have our next gathering during March again (:
