Thanks to Try and Review team, I have a new set of toothpaste and toothbrush from Darlie to try on.
I have switched my toothpaste to Darlie All Shiny White Baking Soda Toothpaste and I love it because it has the ability to whiten my teeth with the All Shiny White formula.
It helps to smoothen uneven surfaces and remove stain with gentle care. With natural cold-pressed coconut oil in it, the toothpaste has a hint of coconut smell which freshen up my breath immediately after brushing my teeth.
As I have sensitive teeth, another plus point of the toothpaste is that it does not cause any discomfort or trigger the sensitivity. I love how it makes my teeth feel clean after the usage.
Darlie Slim Clean Toothbrush on the other hand must have been the slimmest toothbrush that I have ever used. Despite being only 0.01mm slim tip soft bristles, the ultra thin brush head can reach deep to clean in-between teeth and inner cavity.
The brush head is also fine and super gentle, it does not hurt our gum or teeth. We do not need to brush our teeth with much force exerted to achieve clean teeth surface.

It's Friday the 13th, TGIF. I rewarded myself with a sumptuous lunch at Yayoi @ Liang Court.
We downloaded Yayoi app and was entitled to a free drink. So each of us ordered a drink eat to enjoy with the meal.
I ordered Katsu Toji Teishoku at $16.9++ which consists of breaded pork loin with egg. The pork was a bit hard, other than that, everything was fine.

Today was the last working day of one of our temp staff, SP. We had a farewell lunch with him at Din Tai Fung.
We ordered many dishes for sharing - Steamed Pork Dumplings, Prawn Pancake, Oriental Wontons with Black Vinegar & Chilli Oil and Oriental Salad in Special Vinegar Dressing.
We can taste the juicy prawn meat in the deep fried prawn pancake. The exterior skin was crispy and battered.
The wontons was served in a distinctly flavourful mix of vinegar and chilli oil which whetted our appetite with its spicy and sour flavours.
Gina and I ordered a plate of Fried Rice with Pork Chip for sharing. I simply love the egg fried rice that created a taste of familiar comfort and the signature fried pork chop was flavoursome.
Before the day ended, our team went for a tea session with SP at Killiney to bid farewell. All the best for your future endeavours.
Friday 20/9/19
Lately, we resumed our routine of heading out for lunch more frequently instead of the usual tabao. Today we went Somerset 313 for lunch at Food Republic.
Whenever I am at Food Republic, Japanese food will always be at my top choice in consideration. I got a fried fish and ebi rice set at $5.20. It was a simple and delicious meal.
After work, I went for scalp treatment to give myself a treat. This is not a sponsored treatment as I paid $264 for 3X scalp treatment. I find that my hair has become thinner as the years went by due to sebum building up and pores are clogged, affecting new hair growth. Since many occasions are coming up in September and October, I decided to treat myself to scalp treatment to thoroughly cleanse my hair.
Wednesday 25/9/19
We went VivoCity for lunch today because we miss the food at Shin Kushiya.
I had Chicken Karaage set at $14++.
Even the salad was tasty with the acidity dressing that enhanced the taste of the salad. The crispy fried chicken was juicy and I like that it was served with a cup of chawanmushi. Fresh watermelon for post lunch treat.
Thursday 26/9/19
Heading out for lunch for consecutive two days in a row. I am starting to feel the holiday mood approaching, look forward to the weekend where I will be flying off to Penang for my vacation.
We went Swensens' @ Plaza Singapura for the set lunch where we were entitled to a free dessert with the main course ordered.
I had Sticky Chewy Chocolate for my dessert. The cup of chocolate ice cream was engulfed by hot fudge for that rich velvety mouthfeel.

Little did I know that today turned out to be a life changing day for me. I met with an accident on my way home and I hurt my left foot. It hurt so much that I sat at the bus stop for awhile before limping back home.
It didn't occur to me that I have hurt so badly as I thought it was just a sprain. However, I experienced swelling, bruising, throbbing pain and difficulty in walking, so later in the night at 9 plus, I decided to go A&E. There were many stations to go through at A&E. After I had my x-ray taken, the doctor diagnosed that my navicular bone was fractured and it can be treated with cast immobilization and non weight bearing for the time being until my next doctor appointment which is one week later. I was given 1 week hospitalisation leave.
After the nurses helped to put my cast on, I was brought to the therapist where I learned how to walk with crutches non weight bearing. It was actually quite hard especially if there are steps to climb, something that I still cannot master.
Non-weight-bearing means that I can't put any weight through my injured left foot. I have to rely on my hands on the crutches and right foot to keep the weight off of injured foot. As you walk(hop), the injured foot should not be touching the ground.
Other than fractured leg, I also suffered from bruise at my right upper thigh and left elbow.
Sunday 29/9/19
It was very difficult at first. Everything I do, I need people to provide me some sorts of support - going to toilet, bathing, going from one place to other. The most tedious thing for me everyday is bathing. I need to wrap the cast with plastic bag to prevent water from entering the cast, next I need to take a stool in to sit down and bath because I can't stand on one leg bathing, lastly is to take pile of containers to support my left leg so that it is elevated and prevent water from flowing in.
Today was supposed to be the day I flew to Penang for my 3D2N vacation. Due to the mishap, I was unable to fly off and Linda has to proceed with the trip alone.
I felt really lousy because my life has been affected by this mishap, all my plans were ruined. It feels like the whole world is moving except for me. Thankfully, I have my family who are always there by my side, helping me through this difficult stage. My relatives came to visit and bring us nice food too. It put on a smile on my face despite the dark moments.
I really hope I can be on my feet soon.
