Taiwan Day 2: Taichung - Cingjing Farm + The Old England Manor

Day 2 began early for us as Ah Kun came to pick us up at 8.30am. There's no time to continue snoozing because today's itinerary was all back to back. We woke up at 7.30am to prep ourselves.

We went down to cafeteria located at the other end of level 2 for our breakfast. Our stay comes with complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was delicious but we don't have the luxury to enjoy our meal fully, we have a quick 15 minutes breakfast before rushing out to meet Ah Kun who was already waiting outside for us.

Our first stop was Cingjing Farm which was about 1 hour 10 minutes drive away from our hotel. Driving up to Cingjing was a steep driving as the farm sat on a hilltop. We reached Cingjing Farm at 9.40am.

I wore my beanie out today. After yesterday incident, I don't want my hair to fly all over again when the strong wind blew. This beanie was a gift from my bro, he got this in Taipei for me. Finally I have the chance to use it.

We purchased our tickets under group category where each ticket costs NT$160 (or $7.40).
I was feeling very excited to enter the farm.

Cingjing Farm is located far away from the city area overlooking the mountains, it was a joyful affair to stroll along the plains and hillside, enjoying the fresh air.

Spending all my life in the city surrounded by tall building, I was always caught up in the fast pace life and neglect the beauty around us. Traveling to the countryside makes me slow down my pace and experience something that I can't get in the city.

Cingjing farm is surrounded by the spectacular green grassland and mountains. It was a breathtaking sight, I love the countryside scenery. Sightseeing is something I will never get tired of and it's a must have in my itinerary during traveling.

Large group of audience were watching the sheep-shearing Show. It was nearing the end when we reached.

When the show ended, I went down to the stage to take photo with the shepherd dog. The dog may looked fierce but he was quite friendly, the dog was licking my face the moment I went over to hug him.

We went to vending machine to purchase 2 packets of sheep feeding snack.

One last photo before we head down for lunch. I gonna miss this place very much. How I wish I can spare more time to explore Nantou.

It was an hour drive to Puli Township, our stopover point to Sun Moon Lake. Under the recommendation of Ah Kun, we have our lunch here at 李仔哥爌肉飯.

Here's our lunch. I have Pork Rib Rice (NT$70), we also ordered Mushroom Soup, side dishes and drink for sharing. The food was tasty and valuable. Total cost for lunch was NT$260 (or $12.04).
