Happenings in May - Ma Maison Restaurant + Outing with Clique + Haramiya Japanese BBQ Restaurant

Friday 02/05/14

It's Friday, so we decided to have something nice for lunch. After much consideration, we settled ourselves down at Ma Maison. This was my second visit to the restaurant.

Reason for selecting here was because Ma Maison has western lunch sets selling at an reasonable price. The lunch set includes salad, soup, main course and a cup of tea/coffee. The lunch set cost me about $15++

The soup of the day was tomato soup.
The soup was thick and a little too salty for my liking.

Pair it with bread and the taste was just nice.

Main course of the day was spaghetti with grilled fillet which tasted pretty decent.
The fillet was toppled with tomato base, it was soft and juicy. The fillet tasted salty as well. So glad that I have a cup of ice tea to ease the thirst.

I like the taste of the spaghetti, it tasted pretty good. They were nicely tucked in one corner.

Wednesday 07/05/14

It's been awhile since I last went to party and I totally missed it. Thanks to Linda, I found a new partying place at 1-Altitude.

1-Altitude is one of Singapore's highest nightlife destination located at 1 Raffles Place. We took the lift straight up to level 61. Standing at the peak of 282 metres, 1-Altitude offered a spectacular 360 degree view. Didn't took any photo of the view because it was drizzling.

Here we were for Wicked Wednesday. Finally the four of us were free for meetup. Time for catch up with the girls.

We also took a photo with the 2 handsome shirtless guys.

We tucked ourselves at a cozy corner enjoying our drinks and city view.

Miss the 2 girls so much, haven't seen them for quite awhile.
We must meet up more often.

It was a chill night for us where we truly relaxed ourselves.

Sunday 11/05/14

Woke up early on Sunday morning to meet the clique for Nylon 2nd Anniversary event held at Robinson Orchard.

Speaking about Nylon, have you buy Nylon's latest issue yet?

You must definitely purchase it because..................

I was on the cover for Nylon.

Just joking. Nylon has this photo booth where we could take photo and have our photo print-out like the magazine cover. Very cool right?

There was also a styling booth where you can borrow accessories to dress up your outfit before proceeding to the photo booth.

I added on a jacket and sunglasses to glam up my look.

While Linda went to have her makeup done, GF, CK, Andrew, Terence and I were to the styling room for makeup. Here's our end result.

With Andrew after our mini makeover.

After which, we walked up to Wisma Atria to visit the popular messaging app Line pop-up store. The app is known for its original and cute virtual sticker characters.

Join the lucky draw and stand a chance to win LINE merchandise.

Both GF and I won balloon from the lucky draw. Yeah.

It was a fun Sunday for all of us, we enjoyed the outing very much.
More outing to come!

Monday 12/05/14

Visited another restaurant of mine - Haramiya Japanese BBQ Restaurant. I love going around and hunting for nice and affordable food.

This set only cost me $10.60 after adding GST and service charge. It includes salad, main course and fruit.
Although Haramiya is specialised in Japanese barbecued meat, I have never tried their barbecued meat before. Simple because I love the soup based set.

The salad tasted appetising and was to my liking.

The soup base was what that got me addicted to the dish. It was flavourful and every mouth taste so delicious. I felt so satisfied after eating.

Looking at the photo makes me crave for it, I am going to visit the restaurant very soon again.

Clarke Quay Ladies' Night Out Launch Party

Together with buddies, we attended Clarke Quay Ladies' Night Out Launch Party organised by Elle Magazine at Aquanova.

It's Ladies' Night, it's time to enjoy!
Come pop by Clarke Quay, one of the hippest places for nightlife. Clarke Quay is a place which is quiet in the noon but very happening in the night.

While the guys were busy with other stuffs, I had a photo with GF.

Enjoying our glamorous pink colour Cointreau cocktail.

Although we just had our dinner before we came, we couldn't resist the yummy finger food served to us. Couldn't refrain myself from taking the onion rings,  it was delectable!

A happy me smiling away ~

Cointreau is a bitter yet sweet, warming and refreshing drink
We were surrendered to its charms.

Rocking live entertainment to blow away our Yellow Wednesday.

Earlier on, I mentioned that the guys were busy with other stuffs. Guess what they were busy with?

They were all fascinated with the tattoo body arts.

Ah Beng moment. Look what Tai Zheng has on his neck.

With Andrew and Tai Zheng. Aww, TZ had one on his hand too. The bunny was so cute!!!

They got me so tempted to try one on. Okay, I decided to have one tattoo on the end.

I got myself a Tripple X.
It looked so cool and awesome. If only I can have it at other parts of my body...........

The host of the night, Bobby Tonelli, got our attention.

It's time for fashion show.

Loved those bags.
Carlo Rino offers a unique range of products that are classic, yet fashionable and contemporary.

Checked out the chic and fashion designed apparels from Bebe.

If you are a reader of my blog, you will know that I loved attending fashion show (:

Pink balloons made the venue looked so romantic and sweet.

Dessert time.

Simply love taking pictures.

Andrew and I were playing around with the glasses.

The yellow Carlo Rino bag looked great., excellent to bring out for party use.

Aww, super hot guy that melt my heart at first sight. How can I not have a picture with him?
So cute!!!!

It's a great place to chill out at Aquanova, we had an enjoyable night. Hope you guys have a great Wednesday night too.
