Beauty Review - Tsubaki Hair Oil

With proper hair care, one could achieve smooth and shiny hair by using the appropriate hair products.

Today I will share with you a new hair product that I have gotten recently from Sample Store:

Tsubaki Hair Oil

It is a deeply penetrative hair oil that does wonder to our hair.

Being formulated with high concentration of selected camellia oil, it deeply protect, moisturise and repair our hair, resulting in a luxurious shine. It leaves an elegant and indulgent scent of floral and green fruity notes. The hair oil instantly penetrates hair upon application without feeling greasy or sticky and gives a silky smooth finish.

It also protects our hair from damage by UV rays and heat from hair dryers (or other styling equipment), while preventing split ends and hair breakage.

Camellia oil came from camellia flowering plant that was produced in the Goto Islands in Nagasaki. Camellia oil is extracted using a traditional, time-consuming method of pressing finely selected seeds.

Pour approximately 20-cent coin size for mid-length hair.
Spread it on to your palms and work through the hair. After which, focus on areas that require extra application.

Here are the tips on preventing flat hair,  reduce volume and dry hair.

Preventing flat hair
(Particularly recommended to those who have soft and fine hair)

Refrain from applying large amount inappropriately and unevenly.
Start application from the damaged tips and gradually work upwards to the roots to avoid flat hair.

Reducing volume or preventing dry hair
(Particularly recommended to those who have thick and voluminous hair)

Apply an appropriate amount to wet hair and dry it with a hair dryer.
Spread a small amount onto the palms and apply on bottom half of the hair to reduce the volume.

Here was how my hair look like before the application. Everything was good except the hair tip, it was frizzy and dry.

Applying Tsubaki Hair Oil.

Tadah, see how smooth and silky my hair has become. Say goodbye to my frizzy hair.

My hair has never been so obedient before. This gonna be my favourite hair oil so far.

My review:

I am in love with Tsubaki Hair Oil. It helped to get rid of my frizzy hair ends, making my hair look smooth and gave my hair a healthy shine look. It immediately tamed my hair and made it manageable without me using a comb to brush my hair. Amazing right?

The fruity and floral scent makes my hair smell really good. I felt so pampered.

Retail price - $26.90/60ml.

Me too, I enjoyed having brunch as well. Usually Monday to Friday, we will be waking up early either for work or school. So naturally during weekend, we will tend to wake up late and will have our breakfast & lunch settled together. So having brunch is my preferred choice for weekend.

Thanks Hotel Re! for the invitation, I got the opportunity to sample the new brunch menu items.

Hotel Re! @ Pearl’s Hill launches a healthy and nutritious brunch food items which will is available exclusively on weekends, from 10am to 2pm, starting from 6 September 2014. This new menu is specially crafted by Executive Chef William Ang.

Meet Executive Chef William.
The man behind the creation of the new brunch menu.

Treat your loved ones to all five detectable creations of the weekend menu:

1. Classic Breakfast ($18++)

This classic breakfast features the full range of must-have English breakfast items like the golden hash browns, chicken sausage, baked beans, toasted chef’s choice bread and crispy turkey bacon. Sautéed portobello mushroom and cherry tomatoes at the side.

Here was our sampling version of classic breakfast.

Classic breakfast is one of my all-time favourite brunch selection because it is has the ideal breakfast ingredients I am looking for. The sunny side up was slight runny and harshbrown was crispy. The sautéed mushroom was soft and juicy. I like this very much.

2. Salmon Bagel ($16++)

Indulge in smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes, mesclun salad all perfectly encrust in a tasty toasted bagel with homemade zesty lemon cream spread.

Though this may looked simple, it tasted delicious. The scramble egg was moist and delicate. The smoked salmon tasted just perfect.

3. Slipper Lobster Croissant ($18++)

Nothing is short of premium when this delicious croissant is generously filled with a mix of grilled slipper lobster tossed with chopping celery, chive, tomato in Japanese dressing and tobiko. Accompanied by truffle fries, this is an irresistible and elevating dish!

My next favourite after classic breakfast.

The lobster croissant was delectable and the meat was fresh. The truffles fries were well seasoned and appetizing.  It was pretty addictive and you can't stop yourself from wanting more.

4. Egg-citing Benedict ($16++)

This is no ordinary dish.
After countless weeks of experimenting and perfecting his recipe, Chef William promise that you will be back for more of these poached eggs resting on toasted English muffin base, topped with a generous serving of turkey ham or smoked salmon, sautéed mushroom and grilled baby tomatoes and mesclun salad.

Indulging in egg benedict is the best way to kickstart the weekend. Indulge in the beautiful poached eggs set on the muffin. Feel so tempting to go back for the second time to try it.

5. BeRe!Licious Pancake ($12++)

Attention all berries lover! Do not miss this mixed berries compote drizzled with chocolate and strawberry sauce.
If you don't like chocolates, you can opt for butter and maple syrup for a healthier choice.

Yet another simple but delicious berries pancake.
The pancake was soft and fluffy. Coated with chocolate and strawberry sauce, the pancake tasted sweet yummy.

What's better to welcome weekend with a flavourful brunch?
Yeah, it makes me looking forward to weekend.
