ClearSK Club Launch

ClearSK Medi-Aesthetics (ClearSK) is not an unfamiliar name to me. I was a paying customer of ClearSK for their facial services at Novena Velocity.

ClearSK has just launched its newest centre at Leisure Park Kallang. Now we have another location added when choosing our preferred choice of ClearSK outlets.

ClearSK being the known for its largest medi-aesthetic and medi-slimming concept with the largest selection of medical technologies designed by doctors.
The new centre at Leisure Park Kallang not only cater medi-aesthetics solution provider for skin and body, it also offers a new suite of doctor-designed hair growth and scalp treatments.

There are a variety of treatments available at ClearSK which includes medi-slimming, medi-aesthetics for skin and medi-hair with doctor-designed solutions, taking care of our needs from head-to-toe.

Let's look at the Total Body Medi-Solutions that ClearSK provides:

TwinSculpt for Medi-Slimming.

TwinSculpt uses fat freeze technology that comes in twins to deliver effective results more efficiently.

With twin treatment, two body parts can now be treated simultaneously, shaving treatment time by half. Each twin treatment lasted between 45 mins to 70 mins. The treatment can be done on tummy, flanks, thighs, back, underarms, elbows and even on the under chin area.

Both Jas and I have a quick 10 minutes try-out of the treatment.

The TwinSculpt treatment uses cryo-therapy which fuses freezing of adipose tissues in sub-zero temperatures with a vacuum suction to break down fat tissues and fat elimination takes place through the lymphatic drainage system with no down-time.

Recommended to be done every four to six weeks and the results are visible from two-weeks’ post-treatment.

TwinLift for Skin.

TwinLift treatment targets to lift both upper and inner skin layers at one go. It uses a unique High Intensity Focused Ultrasound to stimulate new collagen to strengthen your inner skin layers while Radiofrequency to give an immediate boost to your upper skin layer.
This twin combination helps to achieve firmer skin and reduced appearances of wrinkles with no down-time.

TwinLaser for Medi-Hair Technology.

The TwinLaser Hair Infusion uses Laser of specific wavelength to kindle new hair follicle cell formation, followed by infusion of Hair Growth Active Nutrients to stimulate hair regrowth from its roots.

The two-in-one treatment protects and enriches the scalp, ensuring healthy and strong growth for current hair and new hair. Each treatment is 60-minutes.

ClearSK launched its Club ClearSK for all its clients where membership is automatic for all ClearSK new and long-term clients. Members get to enjoy:
1. One free trial treatment per month
2. Use of the Club ClearSK Lounge
3. Monthly privileges with participating partners

A glimpse of the Club ClearSK Lounge.

Member can enjoy the quiet and relaxed space before or after our treatment with soft music, hot and cold beverages available such as TWG Tea, plus a wine chiller for us to unwind ourselves.

Thanks Jas for the photo.
I have a nice gathering with the girls at the launch event.

We can't wait to try their treatment.

Malacca x Johor Bahru Day 2: Legoland Malaysia

Day 2 began.

I went to bed at 12am last night and woke up at 7am to prepare ourselves for the day. I tucked myself under the thick white blanket and have a cosy sleep.

Checking on the weather.
It was raining in the early morning but the rain has subsided now.

All done with the preparation and packing up my barang barang. I was all alone in the hotel room as my cousin went over to her mum's room to pack her stuffs.

After we were done, we headed down to the Peranakan restaurant at level 1 for our breakfast. We booked the hotel room package that came with free breakfast..

The restaurant has prepared many variety of food but I'm not a person who eat heavy breakfast, so I didn't took much.

Instead of the fried rice, noodles and porridge, I preferred to go for waffles and roti canai.
It would have tasted better if there is curry to go with roti canai.

Together with a sunny side up egg and soya milk.
We helped ourselves with more food. Breakfast is an important meal to start the day. Moreover, we have a long road journey to go before our lunch.

While heading up to our hotel room from the restaurant, I passed back this cafe in the hotel and decided to purchase some gifts inside for my friends (chocolate lipstick) and bro (macaron).

Time was running up. We rushed back to the hotel room to pick up our belongings and headed to the lobby where the mini bus was already there waiting for us. We were heading to Legoland. So excited for it.

From our hotel to Legoland was about 3 hours ride. We were riding non-stop except stopping at Yong Peng for a quick 5 minutes toilet break. Throughout our journey, it was raining on and off. But luckily the rain stopped when we reached JB.

Finally here we were at Legoland Malaysia for a magical retreat, it is Malaysia's 1st international theme park and first of its kind in Asia. Legoland Malaysia Resort is specifically designed for families with children aged 2-12.
Kheng Loon has always want to organise a Legoland trip and we made it.

Going to theme park never fails to lift up my moods.
It brought joy and childhood memories of us playing lego.

A huge face that stood out from the wall right beside Mindstorms, a place that provides creative workshop bringing robot to life.

Due to the sudden downpour, we quickly looked for place to settle down for lunch.
We have fish fillet, nugget and drumstick combo.

Proceed to Miniland next.

Miniland is amazing.
It showcased the miniature famous landmarks from 17 Asian countries using more than 30 million LEGO bricks to create.

Arriving at Singapore for the first stop.

The familiar scene of The Fullerton Hotel and The Merlion Park.

Uncle and Aunt paktor-ing at Singapore Flyer stop.

Reaching China.

Here at The Forbidden City - the emperor’s palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
The familiar palace that I always see from the shows.

Visiting India.

A must visit place when you go India is The Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah jahan in memory of wife.

Thailand next.

This is a Buddhist Temple on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok - Wat Arun. Its name means “Temple of Dawn”.

Boarding LEGOLAND Express at Lego City, viewing the sights of the park while the train moved. The ride a bit boring though, it was moving at a slow speed with nothing much to see.

We reached our destination, thank you LEGOLAND Express.
Searching for the next ride.

Having a fantastic time so far.
Coming to theme park always make me feel young at heart.

We stepped into Lost Kingdom at Land of Adventure.
My family were ready to play an adventure hero in the laser-blasting hunt for lost treasure.

Passed by Beetle Bounce and wanted to give it a try.

Took our position, ready for the ride.
Here we go.

Give us a taste of the bounce of our lives, we were transported 15 feet above the ground and dropping us down all of a sudden. Wow, see the small boy 2 seats away from me?
He just dropped his slipper.

Legoland is really a family friendly theme park, most of the rides are kids friendly. Suitable for family to bring their young kids along.

The next batch of challengers.

Our OOTD.
Lucky I brought my cardigan out with me and didn't left it in the locker. I used it to shelter me from the rain.

We have been contemplating on whether to take the Dino Island ride because you will get all wet on the way down. We decided to give it a miss as we don't want to drench all wet when going to the custom later on.

As I get older, I find my courage level dropped. I'm not that daring in trying out all these exciting rides anymore without a push. Can I go back to being young again?

We also went for 4D Movie.
You can expect to feel the wind and water during the movie.

We took the Observation Tower which meanders upwards in a slow circular motion for us to have a panoramic view of the entire LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort and the surrounding areas.

Spotted the Legoland Hotel.
Just found out that the price of hotel stay is not cheap at all. It costs RM1,200 to RM1,500 for a night stay.
It costs a bomb.

At Legoland Kingdom.
We stopped by here for an ice cream break while treated to the visual view of the castle.

The Merlin's Challenge was fun.
The high speed carousel got us spinning round and round at a very fast speed.

Our last ride in Legoland.
We went to Boating School to learn how to drive a boat.

Bro was enjoying his boat ride.
The boat ride was not automated. We get to control the steering wheel and accelerator on our own.

Our last group photo before we bid goodbye to Legoland.
I have an enjoyable time spent with my family in this short getaway. It's really had to find time spent with one another given our busy schedules. I really treasured the fruitful time spent together.

After half an hour of shopping at the shops outside Legoland getting some souvenir and snacks for family and colleagues, we settled down for our dinner at Absolute Thai. We have a sumptuous dinner and the best meal during our Malaysia trip. We have something nice to round up our trip.

Just in time to catch the sunset view.
We got caught in the jam at both Malaysia and Singapore custom. We were back in Golden Mile at almost 8.40pm.

Goodbye Malaysia, I have a great 2D1N short getaway to escape from the reality. I have a rejuvenating adventure that got my energy recharged. I'm ready to face the reality again.

Malacca Day 1 Part 2: Taming Sari Tower + Jonker Street

Right after the durian makan session, it's time to proceed for another sightseeing attraction.
We were going for a tower tour where we got to overlook the view of Malacca.

Wow, I was awed by the tall tower standing in front of me: Menara Taming Sari (Taming Sari Tower). Taming Sari Tower is located at Jalan Merdeka, within 5 minutes walk away from Dataran Pahlawan Megamall.

Standing at 110 metres tall, the revolving cabin offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Malacca city.

Went to collect our tickets.
Ticket price for the ride RM20.

We were inside the cabin.
The cabin can take up to 66 people per ride and ride duration is 7 minutes.

Rising up the tower.
The 360 degree viewing tower allows us to get a bird's-eye view of Malacca city and spotted some interesting tourist sights.

The tall building is Holiday Inn Hotel, the top 3 most booked hotels in Malacca.
Being near the coastline, I'm sure the hotel offers a spectacular sea view from the hotel room.

Enjoying the peaceful 7 minutes while admiring the beauty of Malacca.
Laid-back mode turned on.

Experiencing the state of serene.

I like how we were away from internet so that we don't get interrupted and glued our eyes in front of our phone the entire time.We get to interact more and enjoy ourselves.

Busy snapping photos away while landing down.
Can't get enough of the view.

We all have a joyous and memorable ride at Taming Sari Tower.
The experience resembled taking the Singapore Flyer ride, except that the pace is a little faster than Singapore Flyer.

Off we go for our last activity of the day.

The most famous street in Malacca - Jonker Street. Our trip to Malacca will not be complete without coming to Jonker Street, a must visit place for tourists.

Jonker Street turned into a night market on weekend where you can find cheap souvenir and tasty treats.

My first stop in Jonker Street - San Shu Gong.
The elders simply loved hunting for authentic local delicacies.

Initially when the elder said going to San Shu Gong, I thought we were going to a temple but it turned out to be a shop. Lol.

It was nearly 7pm, time for dinner. We settled ourselves down inside this eatery of Jonker Street where we have char kway teow, carrot cake, fried oyster, rojak and cendol.

Passing by the stalls of street food made us want to try everything. After the dinner, we went on to try the quail egg and tako balls. Too bad I'm already being full, if not I really wanted to eat the twister potato and coconut ice-cream.

The decorated trishaws were found along the street of Malacca, it has already become one of the icons of Melaka. The trishaw was decorated with fake flowers and different theme of soft toys. Aunt and Grandma took the Hello Kitty's theme.

Uncle and big bro got the Frozen's theme.

My first time taking a trishaw ride. The feeling was great, the driver was riding at an accelerating speed and I love it, especially when the gentle breeze was blowing at us. So rejuvenating.

The trishaw put us at the stop of Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. We shopped around for about 30 minutes before walking back to hotel. I got a t-shirt from Padini.

We were back in hotel. I like that the hotel is located centrally where shopping malls were just few minutes walk away.

With my roommate - KP.
The first thing we did in our room were settled down at the sofa and connecting our phone to wifi.
Time to check on the whatapps and social media updates that we had missed.

Soak myself in the bathtub after a long day out.

Toiletries provided by the hotel.

Out from shower, feeling cleaned and refreshed.
Hey, don't be mistaken. I did wear a short inside, but just that my oversize t-shirt was long enough to cover my short.

My favourite spot in the hotel room.
I loved lying on the sofa and hugging the pillow while using my phone, and occasionally admiring the beautiful scenery out there. It brought comfort, just like how I'm feeling at home. I loved the indulgence.

Jumped onto the bed.
The bed was so comfortable and I'm sure we have a good sleep that night.

It was 11pm and we were lying on bed while watching movie. Our TV has access to different genres of movie - action, horror, comedy and etc.

We watched Pixels before we slept.

I must say I have a great stay at Hotel Equatorial.
Not only does the hotel has a strategic location, the room is really cosy and I have a comfortable stay. If you have higher budget, you can opt to stay in Hotel Equatorial. It's over $100++ per night.

Off to sleep now, good night.
