Exploring Singapore: Georges By The Bay

We then made our way to The Punggol Settlement for our evening plan. The journey to Punggol was no joke, it was super far. As we were nearing Punggol, it started to rain heavily and our plan got disrupted.

We went for an early dinner at Georges by the Bay and was the only customer, probably the timing was early at 5.40pm and the crowds might be here during drinking hour time. The rain also made people want to stay at home.

As it was still raining, we sat in the sheltered area rather than the seat close to the edge. So not much of a view.

I had Cold Honey Lemon ($6.90++) to quench my thirst after the long journey, the drink has the perfect balance of sweet and sour note.

As we were not feeling hungry, we decided to order bites instead of main course. I had Mushroom Soup to start my dinner.

We also had Crispy Chicken Strips ($11.90++) and Onion Rings ($6.90++). With our stomach filled to the brim, I needed some walk to ease the fullness. Thankfully the rain has stopped after we finished our dinner.

It was only 7pm and the sky was turning dark. I wanted to come here early to catch the day view of scenic coasts and Punggol waterway. Due to the rain, we can only came here at this hour. This area is a popular spot for residents living at Punggol.
