Visit to KelJessLoft

Tracy and I visited KelJessLoft, which is GF's new home. Initially we wanted to visit together with Meryl, but with Singapore entering Stabilisation Phase, only 2 unique visitors per day are allowed for house visiting. Hence, only Tracy and I were here. The pandemic has changed our life in a way that we have never expected before, who would have thought dining in a group is a luxury.

Thanks GF and Kelvin for being such a great host, they prepared the in house high tea set for us so that we can enjoyed our girls talk in comfort. Thanks Tracy for the group photo.

The 3-tier high tea set was nicely prepared with ham and cheese sandwich at the top tier, cupcakes in the second tier and fruit tarts at the third tier.

Apart from the 3 tier set, we also had plates of cookies and peanuts to go with. A balance mix of sweet and savoury items, I love the chocolate cookie which was soft and sweet.

GF's home was very cosy and the balcony was the highlight with swimming pool view. Everyday feel like a staycation living here.

After we finished our high tea, GF brought us around the estate for a tour. The rooftop relaxation area offers a splendid view of the residential area of Aljunied that stretched for miles.

This was Tracy and my favourite pool among the one we visited, the water was very shallow (below knee cap). There were lounge chairs partially submerged in the pool where one can sit back and relax at the rooftop pool.

Back to GF's home, I had a cone of ice cream to cool myself down.

GF introduced us to a drama - Alice in Borderland, and we watched the first episode. An aimless gamer, Arisu, and his two friends find themselves in a parallel Tokyo, where they're forced to compete in a series of sadistic games to survive. Those who lose the games will die.

It was nerve wracking and thrilling, the story was well written and brought out different emotions. First episode already got me hooked, I am going to finish watching this drama by next week.

It has been an enjoyable day spent with the girls. Hope to see the girls soon again.
