Singapore is full of instagrammable restaurants and cafes with delicious dishes. One of the most photogenic cafe in Singapore is definitely Cafe Monochrome, Singapore's first 2D cafe located at Jalan Besar.
The cafe is decked in black and white with the interior design is meticulously hand drawn from scratch. the tables and chairs are in the same colour theme which blended well with the background. It looked like something out of a comic book.

Cafe Monochrome has many interesting spot within the cafe, keeping the patrons fascinated and entertained while waiting for our meal to be served.
Cafe Monochrome created a relaxing and quirky vibes which will attract the young crowds. The mural on the wall and flooring were very artistic, making it a good place to chill and unwind. Cheers and time to enjoy our lunch.
We ordered Mentaiko Fries because it was SC's favourite. This was my first time trying mentaiko fries and I love the savoury flavour of the sauce, giving it a fusion of Japanese flavour.
We had Spicy Winglets where the chicken wings were coated with the robust and spicy sauce that will spread the fiery kick down your throat slowly. The chicken has a tender bite within and smoky exterior.
We ended off with Peanut Butter and Biscoff Lotus Ice Cream with Waffle. The waffle was very crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside. The smooth ice cream was topped with biscuit crumbles, added a boost of texture.
For the price of $21.20 per pax, we managed to try different variety of food. Cafe visiting mission accomplished.
