After our adventure at Flower Dome, we headed over to OCBC Skyway for our next stop.
OCBC Skyway is a 128m-long aerial walkway that is suspended between two Supertrees at 22 metres above ground. Can you spot the yellow and black walkway on top, that's where we are heading to. This is a ticketed attraction, you can take the lift up after purchasing your ticket.
This was my second visit to OCBC Skyway where my memories of the walkway was being refreshed, I was treated to a breathtaking view of the surrounding garden lush set in the heart of downtown Marina Bay.
One can spot some of the symbolic icons of Singapore at the walkway like Singapore Flyer and Flower Dome from the amazing heights. Coming to Gardens by the Bay has unleash my inner wanderlust, every spot is postcard-worthy which offers marvelous opportunities to capture different shots.
It can get a little intimidating if you look down from this height. For those who is afraid of heights, you might not want to stand close to the railing and your feet will shake a little when you look at the ground.
Wandering the skyway is definitely the best way to absorb ourselves in the atmosphere of the lush escape with endless greenery. Instagram lovers will love this place. I have already forgotten about the serene place from my last visit as it has been years back, I'm so glad I made a revisit.
Spotted one of Singapore's most luxurious hotels, Marina Bay Sands, the popular accommodation choice among tourists. Our days were filled with relaxing walk and our lunch had been long digested.
Though the scenery we seen may look similar as we walked, there is still some difference to the background and no view is the same. From here, we can see the other side of the supertree where we have passed the halfway mark..
Christmas decorations can be found in Gardens by the Bay. This place will turn into a romantic atmosphere once night falls with the lightings lit up.
It was an awesome day at Gardens by the Bay with great companions. Not only was it fun, it was therapeutic too where I don't need to worry about anything and purely just enjoy myself. A great start to our long weekend.
Our feet were tired from the long walk and we want to leave Gardens by the Bay to find a place to rest and ease our thirst.
